Soccer Betting Terms
Your first step is to know the terminology and abbreviations that sportsbooks use in sports betting. There is quite a list of terms, but we will be going over the more common and basic terms. First lets go over Singles and Accumulators.
Singles Bets
A Single bet is a bet you place on one selection or market. These are some markets on soccer games:

Singles. Singles is the most basic bet, and you just place a single wager.- Double Chance. Next, you have a double chance, where you place a bet on just two outcomes (win/draw or lose).
- Correct Score. A Correct score bet is popular with soccer, where you bet on the score at the end of the match.
- Both Teams to Score. Here, you place a bet on each team to score at least one goal during the match. The score will not matter, since you are just going after both teams scoring.
- Total Match Goals. This is different from the basic Totals goals, but instead on going for an over/under, you bet on the total number of goals in the match.
Accumulator Bets
Accumulator bets are a bit more complex than a singles bet since you will need to rely on multiple outcomes for your bet to win.

- Accumulators. An Accumulator Bet is a bet that you place on multiple selections, such as two or more matches or markets. Normally you place bets on multiple matches. This is a form of parlay bets since you will need all of your selections to win. The payout for this is much higher than a single bet, but the risk is also higher.
