Bookie Betting Markets in the US is Doing Good So Far
Bookie betting markets in the US continues to grow, with states continuously showing a year-on-year increase in handle and revenue. While the slump was glaringly obvious during summer, we have been seeing improvements in the handle for the past couple of months. Many PPH bookie operators are seeing the numbers in sportsbooks rise since the MLB started its playoff season. Other sports are also worth mentioning, especially as we approach one of the busiest seasons in sports betting. The NFL, for instance, brought a much-needed boost in September.
In addition, college sports (football and basketball) are also huge contributors to the betting handle of most sportsbooks. Every pay per head bookie operation offers access to the major professional sports leagues, plus collegiate sports. However, some states either limit college sports betting, or prohibit them altogether. This can affect the total betting handle as well as the revenue of the state, since these markets have less products to offer.

We are still missing the September numbers of some of the biggest sports betting markets in the country. These are New Jersey, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Iowa. We will be seeing their reports in the next few weeks, though. It is, however, pleasing to see states like Indiana and Michigan breaking the all-time high record for monthly sports betting handle. Given that other states are also showing an increase in handle, we can safely assume that the same would be for the other markets who have not released their monthly reports yet.
And given that the NBA will be starting this October, we can also assume that we will see another jump in monthly handle soon. Of course, operators would be happy to see the handle constantly break its record to report better month-on-month growth. And, of course, to see a significant improvement in revenue before the year closes. IF you want to get in on sports betting, here are some sports betting tutorials to get you started.
