NCAA Tournament Developments
Much of what you will see in gambling industry news will center on the NCAA. March Madness, specifically. But we are still at the point where NCAA tournament championships are still ongoing. But the list of teams getting an automatic bid continues to grow. The list will continue to grow up to hours before Selection Sunday, but we’ll take a look at the latest that we have so far.
Selection Sunday will be at 6:00 PM ET, it will be done remotely as well. This will ensure that teams minimize risk of contracting the virus. Any team that will have a player or staff member that tests positive for COVID-19 will not be able to play, and will require a period of no positive test results (taken daily) to return. For those worrying about changing lineups and schedules, your bookie pay per head software will adjust the details automatically.
NCAA Tournament Updates
So far, we have 11 teams with an automatic bid. Come Saturday, we have the America East Tournament title game in the morning. We will be seeing conference championships games from the ACC, Big East, Big Sky, Big 12, Big West, Conference USA, MAAC, MAC, MEAC, Mountain West, Pac-12, Southland, SWAC, and WAC for Saturday. There are many, many opportunities for people to win big from betting on these games in your online bookie software.
But there are more conference finals games this weekend, which will happen Sunday. Its common to not know the final list of teams until around an hour before Selection Sunday, especially with such a jam-packed schedule. For Sunday, watch the games of the SEC, Patriot, Big Ten, Atlantic 10, and the AAC. Ivy League is not participating this year.
