WSOP Is Back with $1 Million in Prizes

The World Series of Poker is back online and players will be able to play for $1 million in guaranteed prizes. It begins Friday, and ends on December 14. Buy-in for the game is as low as $215, and goes up to $1,000.

The winner will then play against the US winner on a one-on-one game on December 30 in Las Vegas as well. Whoever wins will be the WSOP Champion.

Meanwhile, the World Poker Tour (WPT) is also hosting a huge tournament late in 2020. They plan to hold an in-person event as well by January 2021. Their first online tour event will be on partypoker US and will be from December 27-29 and will have a $1 million guarantee as well. The buy-ins are as low as $5. But of course, the 3-day main event will have a $3,500 buy in.
