Iowa Sports Betting Improves in June

It looks like sports betting is finally returning as Iowa sports betting improves in June. UFC and NASCAR were back as early as May, and the PGA Tour was in June. Casinos also reopened in June, which may also be a factor in better numbers. But many fans are waiting for the NBA< NHL, and MLB to resume their seasons soon. Currently players from these leagues are all in training camp.

Many experts think that the numbers for June may have been better, had people been allowed to play without needing to register in person to be able to bet. Iowa has this provision in the law, and will have this for at least 6 more months. The physical registration requirement will be lifted starting January 1, 2021.
