The Curious Case of US College Sports Betting

This ban covers all students, staff, and faculty. This is not limited to Philadelphia, as Purdue University in Indiana also has the same ban. In New Jersey, bettors are not allowed to bet on games that are held at, or involve state universities. While some of these policies, such as New Jersey’s, are state law, some are proactively made by universities themselves.
